basically.... tell them you want them to install a muffler that you are providing and that you want dual tips out the back by the hitch..... any competant muffler shop can do it... if they say they cant, go elsewhere.....

when i went the people in town said that the flowmaster 40 series wont fit on 3rd generation explorers, mines 2004.

so instead i went with the magnaflow but i still want to do duel out, anyway to do this?

yea the flowmaster 40 does fit my 95 i think, from what i have read

Most shops will want you to stop in to get a quote. They may be able to ballpark it over the phone, but most will say to come in with it.

yea im going to call tomorrow and see what some places say

i just got a 2 1/4" s/ in s/out flowmaster 40 s it sounds nice on my 4.0

Have a sound clip? :)

I do. This is with a single high flow cat, and flowmaster cat-back with original 40 series swapped in. Turn up the volume on your speakers. Right click, save target as.....

well i got my FLOWS installed yesterday with duals and all, its so sweet and sounds so good ill get some pics up later

Nobody wants pics of your exhaust, WE WANT SOUND BYTES! What'd it end up costing? Did you notice a loss in power or acceleration? After a week or 2 it'll burn-in and sound even better :D

where can you go to load up soundclips?
i got a flowmaster 40 series on my 93 with just stock pipes im lookin into getting the pipes upgraded to say 2.5....would this make a difference reallY?

You'll want 2.25 max for the OHV. I can host soundclips for whoever wants.

i just got a geocities page apparently you can upload sound there.... heres mine.....i took the sound wit my digital camera...i set the cam a lil too close i think so when i reved it it drowned out a lil but its still alot better than stock and you can hear it

sound good guys, i have flowmaster 40 series NON delta, with stock cats and 2.25 straight out to back with tip, sounds great after 2 weeks, have to wait till the muffler gets some heat in it.

but if u just run the flowmaster with no tail pipe, you will get alot of drone.

when i first put it on...i started it up without the tailpipe and it was soooo deep and loud i liked it...but my dad made me put the tailpipe back onlol

Good for you. I cannot wait till I put on my MagnaFlow duel in/single out 2.5 pipe in about a month or two.
