Just purchased recently and replaced front shocks but still have rattling sound (mainly front left side). I've heard of anti-rattle chips. What exactly are they? Thanks in advance for all advice. cheers:confused:

It could be ball joints, or the spindle.

ttb + rattles = check the radius arm bushings
Also check your catalytic converter heat shields

anti rattle clips are a part of the front brake caliper, they are springs installed under the inner brake pad on the knuckle to help keep the brake pads from bouncing around or squeeling

Welcome to the forum!

In addition to the items listed above, you could have loose wheel bearings. Best thing to do is jack it up and check the wheel for play (up/down, left/right, etc.) and look for what's moving that shouldn't be.

Or, bring it to a shop and let them do the diagnostics for you. Then you can decide if it's a job you want to tackle yourself. Just make sure they show you what's wrong while the truck is still on the lift...
