i searched the site and came up with wayyy too many results, and the chalk test works for a huge range of pressures for me for some reason.

anyways, what pressures are you guys running in your tires? i just put mine on and am not quite sure how much i should put in, so right now i am running around 30

i run 34 on road 31 bfgs

I have 32-34 front and 30-32 back. Around 18 when wheelin.

Off-roading I try to run around 15-20psi. Street I like to run about 40-45psi, but never do  so it more like 35psi

40-45 that ride must suck!

30 is about right....

Yeah but great gas milage! ;)

Well depends on if you want a nice ride, good look, or if they start dipping. 31's are 6 ply tires, and will hold up to 50 psi. Off-roading, put in what you want but i would say no less than 15 psi. 35 psi is the normal on 4 ply tires and should be fine with best ride. If you run them on that and they dip out get them rotated front to back, x'ed to the front, and bump it up to at least 40 psi maybe 45 psi. You should not need 50 unless you want them to be stiff. -Zany

I run about 34-35 on-road, about 20 off. With the chalk test, are you driving in a straight line? It only takes about 2 or 3 rotations of the tire to see the chalk starting to wear off.

i have about 40 in them

with stocker's i was running 36

(ak ltd)

my explorer is set up for the desert and high speed stuff so i run 18 in front 13 in rear when im doing that, a lot of desert guys run 20/15 though, but on the street i usually don't go much above 25 anyway, these are on 31" pro comp muds, i guess i like my pressure a little lower than most though, my crawler which i tow to the trails is on xterrains and in the rocks sometimes i'll run em as low as 3 or 4 lbs and i don't blow beads all that often, but i come to the trail very prepaired so blowing a bead isn't that big a deal to me most of the time.

30-34 all around.

I ran 35 psi in my 31's I found that to be the best compromise between gas mileage and ride comfort

i do 35 psi in my 31" pirelli scorpion a/ts

34 psi on 31x10.5 Pro Comp A/Ts

Mine are sitten' pretty with 50 psi at the moment... it rides hella-hard... I think I could feel it if I were to hit a fly. It reduces the vibrations from my messed up U-joints for now, so thats where and why im running them so high. Also, I ran my tires for about a months unbalanced.. they might have got " cups " in them from being lop-sided. I had them at 35psi.. but I like the hard ride :)

Around 35 psi on my 31x10.5's......That seems to provide a pretty good ride.
