FROADER's '04 E-350

No worries about hijacking this thread. Those look big to be 20s, but they look real good.

I'm actually lifting mine, I was just messing with sam (even though he still won't get it) about the bags and 26s. :)

I'm putting the SD axle and making it 4x4. the only think I'm unsure of now is what size wheels I want to get. I'm getting 33s or 35s for it, but do I want a 16" (more off-road), 18" (a little more street), or 20" (full bling) wheel. I can't decide what look I want to go with.

yea they did look big..probably b/c of the deep lip they have. I loved them

Honestly bro..i think you should go w/ 18s...16s IMO looks like u just got beafy tires and later upgraded the rims but didn't have money to get new tires lol
20s look badass w/ some nice Nitto Grappler tires ( i think thats how they are spelt) but they are pretty expensive tires.
I would just go w/ some nice looking 18s. I remember saving a picture of a lifted econoline w/ some really nice 18s..i'll try looking for it and posting it

Those are 38s though too. That's the dude I got my SAS kit from.

I was thinking 16s because I like the look of some sidewall on the tires. Here is a pic of 16s. I'm leaning towards 18s though, but we'll see.

dan does ur uncle car have the hids that were from ur dads e350

I like it, but it's way too big for me. My max tire size is going to be 35" I'll still be towing my explorer to the desert and don't need to be pole vaulting into my own ride. :)

yea i kno what you mean....
i'll keep my eye out for rims. I also stumble along some nice cheap rims..but meanwhile i never find rims that i want  lol

Ugh...thats how i feel...now add a baby in a baby seat on a lifted 2 door :(

Hmm, 16s too small, 18s too big, I got something for you Goldie Locks, some 17s that are just right.

Remember the ones I had no my 37" BFG MTs, you can match your Explorer.

I'd go with the 18s You got a big enough van to make them look like 15s anyway the 16s look extra small. hell even the 17s look small So why not go with 18s and gain a little style. Thats where it counts any way in the booty hauler.

bigga is betta!!:D

subscribing cuz i can't wait to see how it turns out!!!!

Honestly Colin, I'd do 17" There way more tire choices. 17"s are the new 15's;)

Subscribing to this thread, don't know how i missed it. I'd say 17s or 18s because they'll look proportional to the hugeness of the van, but 17s allow more options with tires.

And here's a little inspiration:
