front end popping

2002 MM AWD has a popping in the left front if i turn hard left but its just one pop. when the pop happens you can feel it under the drivers feet. It is also very bindy when turn but im told this is normal. my wife says it happen when turning either direction but i only feel turning left. I have jacked it up and can find anything loos eto make this noise

I had something similar, it turned out to be a broken sway bar link that had a broken top and kept slipping in and out of the sway bar making a popping noise. Hope you find it!

Also check the ball joints.

is there any positive way to check your lower control arm bushings because i believe i can see fatigue in my right lower C A which would make sense that it takes more strain when turning left.

Can you take the weight of the vehicle off it, then pry the wheel up to see if any of the bushings deflect slightly?

ok has anyone had problems with the transfer cases on these i finally had some help and it sounds as if it is coming dead center under truck i know i was way off at first describing it.
