Full throttle issues. Advice please.

Returnable sysytem: 2 lines is 30 to 40 psi
Returnless system: 1 line with fuel pressure regulator on fuel pump is 45 to 65 psi

Delphi makes the OEM pump for the 2nd Gen Explorers.

No Explorer ever came with a carburetor.

Really, I didn't know that. I guess I can stop trying to find the carburetor on any of mine.

Looks like an F150 Explorer. There was also an F150 ranger. Nothing at all related to the SUV Explorers. Ford tests names on other models often, like with the Explorer Expedition in 1995. I still stand behind my original statement.

Ah, but the f150 was an explorer before the suv explorer was even thought of, so, everybody is right.

Yeah, that’ll do it. So used to Fords and Subarus I don’t like working on anything else. Although, the Kia’s build has really surprised me.
