Gas mileage with system

so i was just wondering, would taking a system out improve gas mileage. its 2 kicker l7's with a kicker kx 850.2 amp. Thanks

Well, if ya face 'em out the back, open the hatch and crank 'em, you might get some thrust to help with the mileage....



The only thing taking them out will do is save weight, which can save mileage, but you'll have to remove a LOT to make it noticeable.

i have a buyer lined up for those subs, so you should sell them to me so i can resell to him at a tidy profit?

honestly though- why such a small amp for those subs?

i'm pushing 2k rms to l7 12s in my brothers escape

well, what year and size are the subs?
 






2004 or 2005 model, and they are 12", they also have a kicker made ported box that it came in
