OK, HOW MUCH DO YOU ADD TO YOUR GAS? HOW MUCH DOES A BOTTLE COST? DOES IT HELP HORSEPOWER/TORQUE?

One minor forgotten detail
Acetone additive doesn't always work on cheap gas... If you buy gas from the habeeb mart it will most likely already be loaded up with tons of crap like oxygenates etc, and will have a base octane of 85 or less before they added all that stuff to get it to pass the 87 octane rating. When you buy a quality gasoline from Shell or Sunoco, or Texaco it will perform like it's supposed to. I'm not starting the old debate about brand name gasolines being different than no name gas- but the bottom line speaks for itself. Cheap gas is crap, and will not respond to additives because there's not enough actual "fuel" in the gas, it's already watered down with tons of additives.
Here's a link about gas stations: http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directo...on_Differences
With gas running $3.12-$3.20 now, if this really worked I would think that the stores would be running out of the stuff and jack up the prices to keep up with the demand. So this has been brewing for the past 2 years. Have we really learned anything from this?
Acetone doesn't make you burn hotter - it ignites at a different time than gasoline does. wouldn't this throw timing off?
OK i seem to have noticed that your fuel in the states is lower in Octane than ours, regular is 95 and high is 98, would acetone make a differance in this case If I was to add it to our commonly available 95 octane stuff?
I get an average of 20- I think thats normal.
I would love to get more per gallon with the UK price being £1.05 per litre at this time!
