Gas tank problem

HAHA i have 2 questions...the other one is another thread.

Ok so my gas tank will not read when there is gas in it. its a stuck floter thing in the tank i guess...its gonna be expencive to repair...any way to fix it without changing the gas tank out?

You need to drop the tank to get the sender out. Once it's out you can make an access panel, so if you ever need to change the fuel pump, it's easy to get to.

Some have made the access panel with the tank in place, but I wouldn't recommend it at all. I have seen gas seepage at the top of the tanks. Not a good thing to combine with sparks.
