how are the xterrains rated? i am getting rid of my super swampers, they are too big for my rig. They fit ok but my turning radius sucks. so i plan to go from a 33x13.5r15 to a 31x12.5r15 on my 15x10" rims. What are your guys' opinions for this change. I think it will not only look better, but i will be able to drive it now, instead of only when i need to. I have to admit, i really wanted 33s, and i wanted wide, but now after having them, its just too much with them sticking out really far, to horrible gas mileage since i didnt regear.

i know what you mean. I have some 28" tires ready to be mounted on stock rims i bought from section. My milage is 15 and it sucks balls. You know, you could take your stock rims and mount the 31's on them. If you want your milage to be better get 10.5's. That way you can turn without rubbing. Keep the swampers mounted on the 15x10's for when you go wheeling.

nah, i like the look with the tens. i just got too anxious and bought the widest 33 i found. If i would have found the 15.5 in wide i would have probably done that one. But i learned my lesson. The xterrains are good from what i hear, and they come in the size i want. I just decided to put the truck on hold, since my daughter will be born in a few months, and live with what i got. I am also gonna take the lights off of the hood, i hate it now, and i will put a top on the snorkel. After all this, i am leaving it alone until i can really do what i want with it.

i love the sticking out, but as far as daily driving, i will get my turning radius back. after a few months, i will buy someones used rock crawlers and jsut get my ltbs mounted to them, unless they sell here or locally.

you could sell them to me and take a some off the price for my brand new 31-10.5 tires.......just my .02 :D

sure moose1, if your interested. They are only like 6 months old. Not many miles on them, dont know exactly, but i just go to reiter and back maybe 10 times max. I paid 150.99 a piece. I'll let them go for a 100 a piece. They do have outer lug scrapes on the tires, from my fenders, but its only on the outer lugs, nothing to compromise the integrity of the tire. They are the best tire i have ever wheeled on, i love them. But like i said, im steppin down a notch right now.

i would need to do a bl before i could do this right, and what size rims would i need?

15x10's would be preferable with a 3.75 bs and -19mm off set. A 15x8 wuld work too but you would need less than 3.75 bs or somethin like that. And yes, you would seriously need a body lift and a torsio twist to fit those puppies.

bls are cheap, for the money you save buying my tires you could have one. But i will reassure you, these are very aggressive mudders, and do extremely well offroad. With all my underways, and a deployment coming up around march next year, i wont be wheelin much at all, esp with my soon to be born daughter.

Ill have to find somone to do the bl for me so ill call some shops arround here, what size rims will i need . Im realy serious about these, problem is i just paid 95.00 each for my tires 3 weeks ago, so are you going to want these tires or just sell them to me?

Im very serious, ill order the bl tommorrow, how long do you think itll take to put on. Ill also find out a price for 15-10 rims, did you want my tires, if not ill sell them either way can you give me till tommorrow for an definite answer, it just depends on the rims.

Yea, as long as i can find some rims for them, ill look online and then go to lesswabb tommorrow and idea were i can find a set for a decent price.

look in to pro comp mud terrians, they seriously kick butt, they grip really good in mud, and sidewall is aggressive, and they ride good on the road, i have 33x12.5r15 and they arent as loud as i thought they would be, at 45mph you can barely hear the tires i love mine i just hope they last

No go on getting the tires, the cheapest rim that size is 250 ea plus the 4 for the tires, not after a 5k down payment for the wifes new car.
