Alright. I have a 91' Sport with a 5 speed. I was gonna sell it, I got an offer for a grand. However I found out today that there is a local mud bog. I am considering not selling and building it for the mud bog. It runs great and strong. However the clutch is about gone, and other then some clunking and clanking coming from it at slow speeds, I think it'll fix up good enough to last me a season. I want to start of in the 1/8 flat track races until I can afford some more stuff for it. Now I need to make it fast, I want to win. What can you guys tell me about the explorer that'll help me out, what suggestions do you guys have, any tips and tricks? I figured a PVC intake and open exhaust would be a start. I plan on welding the spiders in the front. should I chop the hell out of it and try to cut weight?
