Glove box light

OK...this is weird...did a search but found nothing. Glove box light stays on constantly. Driving me nuts, and battery not really happy either... thoughts???

It's easy enough to disconnect. Drop the glove box and look up just behind the light. There is a connector.

Most times the light stays on because the plastic arm which switches the light off breaks. You need to replace the unit as a whole. I doubt it would take more than 3 or 4 minutes. It's got the connector and a couple small screws. Pull one at a yard for less than $5 or you can get a new one from Ford dealer.
