got my HID kit finally

i have some of the first batch of the DEPO headlights that i got in late 2004. they never had that little cap. and from what i hear that cap is a waste.

you do loose your hight beams with it. but i have to say..there is no need for them now. but that is why i added some 100w lights to my safari bar. but i have to say..now that i see what the HID can do. i dont even need them.

i'm at school..when i get home i'll try to get all the ?s awnsered for you guys..and post up some new pics today.

droooolllll.....STOP showing me these pics, ahhh, they look so nice, i'm going to stab you with them...:P....love them lights guy, good buy...

Do you actually use those hellas or what ever brand they are. all the pics i ever see of your truck they are covered

just curious what do you do when people flash their lights at you when you drive by them? Give them the finger? lol what happens when you pull the high beam colom lever?(nothing?)
you have to have some curtiosy for the other driver and at least leave the fogs off for me it wouldnt be a big deal but fro mister honda civic he might run into the front of your truck if your not careful(if they really are as bright as you described.

Need to do something about those corner lights, the white need to be whiter!!

yeah becasue you loose the high beams. nothing happends when you pull it back for the "flash to pass" and when you push it forword the lights go off becasue there is nothing connected to the high beam wire.

no not one person has flashed me at all. and if somone does thats why i have those 100w lights on my safari bar..haha

before i got the HIDs i did use the 100w lights on my bar alot with my highbeams. i put them there knowing i was going to loose my high beams. but now i really dont have a need for them anymore untill i aim them up higher. i did not know what these HID were going to do. so now i'm going to aim the lights on the bar farther out so that they will shine very far down the road when i need highbeams(not going to be very often).

but i just covered them up because i had not tryed the covers before. they are coming off incase somone high beams me or if i need to see way the hell down the road..lol

thanks guys...i'm so loving them..i drove around in broad daylight today with them on just casue i had them..haha

hehe i know :( ...i'm going to throw the stock amber bulbs back in there with alittle high temp silver paint :D

try splicing the high beam mire into the HID's or maby into the 100w lights so that at least the left side lever does somthing when you push or pull it

BTW what brand are you 100w and can you get a pic with them on?

you *****...looks good, i'd like to see them in person

not somthing i'm interested in doing. the 100w lights are wired to a remote control key fob system so they can be turned on from like 500ft from the truck....i dont really care that the high beam deal doest do anything.

BTW the lights are "rally" $19 each at wal-mart :D they look just like daylighters..they work great and i like them. but i will be getting some Hellas here soon.

John..lol anytime you want no problem... ;) but i have to warn you. once you do you'll want some :D

found a pic with the safari bar lights on

idk i guess i could do a write up...

they did come with directions..but i never looked at them :D but as any woman would say..."typical"

yes its a TRUE 6000K HID kit...including bulbs,ballest's,wiring

in responce to that comment about the foglights. my foglights are wired to come on anytime the parking lights are on. they are 55w real yellow fogs aimed where foglights should be..low. i'm going to use as many light as is legal..if it bothers somone thats to bad. my lights are all aimed where they should be as to give me the best light and to not glare at other drivers. ;)

Sounds great..in addition my wife says they look great and she is all for it. So I plan on purchasing a set tonight when I get home from work.

This question is for anyone to answer that has some knowledge about the cap on the inside. When I do install these HIDs should I remove the cap or keep it in. Also what would the pros and cons with leaving them in... Once I remover the cap I won't be able to put it back in. Thanks allot for your advice in advance.

Jeremy

ok as long as they are aimed wre they need to be most fog lights are blinding to samll cars. I know my fogs are but they are mounted in my grill.
I love those 100w and the HID's you should do a write up on them and maby become elite free for a while...

Looks damn good! I know you've been wanting these for a while.
