Hi all,

Was under fitting a new exhaust this evening and noticed a green paste spattered around the passengers wheel well. It appears to be coming from the brake calliper area however due to the wheel spinning it hasn't been possible to definitively source.

It's fresh and is NOT water like it is more of a paste/grease texture and dark green in color. All my fluids appear to be normal!

Can anyone suggest what this could be? I did replace the bearing a few weeks ago but no fluids were lost or added as part of this process and this has only occurred in the past 24 hours.

If you have 4wd, the grease in the axle boot would look like that. But it would be on more than just the wheel well, due to its location.

And nobody put the green slime in the tires? If that stuff is in there and the tire suffered a puncture, it would splatter green crap around the wheel well until it sealed the leak. Just a thought.
