Well I just got word that my new rims for the on-fitty were just picked up so now I need to decide how to paint them :D

There is a recessed strip in the center of the arms going out. I plan to paint them dark grey to match the truck, or black.

Here is what they look like grey on the same color truck as mine.

If you're keeping the chrome on the truck, I'd say body color might look sweet.

Black and maybe a polished lip.

I've got some of that flat argent paint I used on my truck left over that would look good on there. It has to be sprayed though because there's no working time to brush or roll it on.

Ok...So I got the wheels home today... And I'm 99% sure I'm still going to do the Grey;) Actually found the exsact same color has the truck:thumbsup:

So the grey will look kinda like this

But the black is kinda start to grow on me

I like the black. but what's wrong with chrome?

They are not crome now...just flat...with a coating, and I don't feel like stripping and then polishing 4 17" wheels!

So Change in plans:rolleyes:

some thing with the wheels were being a pain in the a$$ so I desided to just paint the whole wheel. I ended up painting them the same color as the truck, which is Dark Shadow Grey, and they came out way better then I expected!!

now I just need to find some black lug nuts...

The problem is they are 14mm x 2 and I cna't find any one that makes that size in black:(

Ahh thats right, all the new 6-lug fords...your not gonna use the caps and paint them?

That's the problem...I don't have the caps...The lady said she had them, and then could not find them:mad: I though no biggie cause I'll just use mine. But they don't fit:( and for the ones for the wheels are about $80 bucks on ebay which is bull. I only paid $125 for the wheels:rolleyes:

Ahh, i see, the wheels look great though...

Hmm.........I guess your stuck using chrome lugs or your factory open lugs, which sucks

yeah I'll figure it out:rolleyes:

Next project: Harley Dividson lights! :D
