I've searched the forum but I can't find what I'm looking for on adjusting the rear hatch on one side so it's lower. This is a 96 limited that I picked up several months ago. The right side sits about a half an inch too high. The body lines and trim do not match. I'd like to get the hatch lower versus just adjusting the Stryker post.

can't remember about adjusting it, but one ting i will say: take a look at the welds where the hinges meet the hatch. the ones on this one are tearing and the hatch flexes alot and won't align. someday will fix it... you can see a picture of it from 2022 in my thread

Should be able to
Loosen the hinges a little and get it to line up? Ford put some
Adjustment in the door hinge screws,
Typically they are slotted to allow body lines to be adjusted. Your hatch should be no different. Maybe have to access the side of the hinge under the headliner? Not sure it’s been a while since I messed with a hatch and hinges on the body side of things
