cut off and same those oval flanges. its a weird shape that nothing else is made with, so you never know when youll need one for any reason.

of snap.yea way smaller.good luck, just be careful not to but that edge of the head off.worse worse case you can VERY carefully cut it flush with a dremel cut off wheel ,drill it out and tap or hellicoil it

or really that hole comes out the other side so you can just drill the damn thing out and put a long bolt with a nut on it.have fun drilling that out though hahaha

yeah the head aint that thick at the top, its only being held by about 6 threads... so its not that thick... but i dont think there is enough room to drop a nut in there to use a bolt and nut...

guess ill try that next, cut it flush and then use the easy out again... and if that dont work... slowly drill it out till i can get a bolt into it... this sucks...

i bet if you use a bit that is a couple size smaller so you dont drill the head,i bet after a little bit of drilling it comes loose and spins out the back.i wouldnt even cut it flush yet

the easy out kit im using is 2 sizes under the bolt its self... i got someone coming tomorrow to come look at what they can do, hes been a mech for 30+ years and still one.

You don't want any oil or oily finger prints on them for the first start.it can burn into them or ruin the finish ;)
