Okay, I got new Silverstars for my '02 Sport and this may sound like a stupid question but what exactly do I have to do to put them in. What I mean is do I have to take the whole headlight out or is there a way to access the area from inside the engine compartment? I know from other posts that it sounds pretty easy but any help would be appreciated. Its VERY cold outside in Michigan so I can't really stand outside for very long trying to figure it out myself. Thanks!

from the compartment, there are flaps, you lift those up and should be able to get in there... there is a big screw off clip, screw it off... pull light out, disconnect harness..... repaet steps in reverse order.... make sure you dont touch the glass at all! good luck

I the easest way is just to take the headlight enclosure out. First remove the turn signals (to make it easy to pull them out). Pull the two black tabs up to release the headlight housing. Then remove the wire to the headlamp. Be careful because the tabs on the wire are breakable. Then just unlock the little ring that holds the bulb. Then pull the bulb out and put the new one in.

2k1 is correct. You have two tabs on each light that releases the housing. Then you just turn the plastic ring off and pull the old one out and put the new one in. Screw the ring on.

Thanks for all the help guys. I got them in today. It was a pain in the butt to pull the tabs up though. I think because it was so cold out they were kinda frozen so I actually had to pry them up with a flat spackel-like tool. It was no fun doing that and freezing my butt off but the lights work great so I am excited! THanks again

Mine are tight as hell too, reguardless of temp!
