Heat shield rattles

Does anyone know what size nut that is that the arrow points to on the left?

i never did bother with getting the heat shield back on the right after I changed the fluid once. Now it's rattling so I've got to get on it.

The manual calls for removing section of the exhaust to get to it (cause there's no room between it and the transmission) but I can't get to the bolt on top.

I think if I loosen that up I might be able to move it around easier.

Is there a hole where the manual shifter would go through the floor? Might be easier to go at it that way.

it is a 10mm nut
