Trying to figure out why the drivers seat isn't heating. I checked the ohms at the harness connector and I am getting some between 3 of the 4 connections. Assuming 1 of them is the ground. When I probed the wire harness of the heated seat element im getting nothing at all 4. This makes me believe its friend and the wiring to it is fine. Passenger seat heats up great. Do they sell just a heated seat element or is there a universal one that plugs in? I browsed the internet and I'm seeing some where I need to buy the entire cushion. Any help would be great. Thanks

Welcome to the Forum.
Do you hear the fan motor running? I checked the AutoNation Ford Parts site and although they show many cushions, there was no mention of heated or cooled.
According to the member's post, it is just a "heating pad". Heated Seat Driver side not warm any more Unfortunately, I can't verify that.

I don't believe my car has the cooling seats. There is no fan noise when I turn either side on. Passenger side gets nice and toasty.

There are no fan sounds. My explorer doesn't have the cooling seats so not sure that matters. It seems as if its just the pad from me checking and that post. I can't find just the heating element on rockauto or anywhere.

I've never heard them in my Explorers either but several members have when using the heated seat feature. If I shut the radio OFF and the HVAC system, I can hear it in my Aviator but it's very faint.

On my 2019 Limited, when I turn on the heated seats I hear the blower motor on for the cooled seats as well. Its faint but noticeable with the radio down parked.
