I have a Ford Wiring Diagram Manual for a 2000 that shows heated seats. I bought it on e-bay so that I can wire my heated seats in my 98. Haven't actually done it yet, but located all of the wire locations except for the large power wire which isn't in the harness from the factory (obviously because mine didn't come with heated seats), so I'm trying to find a good way to get 30A power from the distribution box.
I bought 99 Limited seats and door panels for my 98 Mountaineer. I haven't had time to do the wiring yet. I also have not decided whether the heated seats would work by just adding an ignition switched power source.
What is the point of having so many wires going to and from the heated seat? There are about seven. Get back to you,
