2012 Ford Explorer XLT
Hey I’m Cole (17 at the time) I’ve got a 2012 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 and it has at the time 393,506 miles same engine and transmission. Got it from my father at 16 and have been in love with it ever since. Hope to learn and help out here.

Welcome to this forum! I remember seeing a thread years ago with several members posting their mileage. Most had 400K to 700K miles. I don't know how anybody could put on such mileage. I put on around 1,200 miles a year which comes out to 100 miles a month.

@Cole C Nice, she's a looker too! Welcome to our collective back yard, you'll find plenty to do with the community here!

Well when my father was still driving it he had a 1 1/2 hour commute to work so a large majority of the miles are highway miles so I guess that’s were they all came from.

Welcome Cole.

Hello Cole,

Lots of miles. Nice. But the only things I've ever seen that mileage mattered were military trucks. Ive seen(operated) some of those that were literally falling apart. Especially the HMWWVs. That aluminum box body just does not like getting vibrated for a long time.

Anyway, have fun with it.
