Is there a check engine light on or od lights flashing?

o/d light flashes some times like if i stop and idle to long before moving again or if i try to go wot to fast check eng. light on do to the exhaust leak

grt the codes pulled and start from there. But to me it sounds like your tranny in not engaging od.

k callled the shop no one there todaay there closed ill call them tomorrow cause i had it rebuilt not long ago

What should the rpm be on a 2003 Ford Explorer at 65 mph?
My son has been driving ours and feels it may not be going into 4 th gear.
It has about 160,000 miles and I had the tranny rebuilt at 100,000 miles

My 02 with the 4.0 is usually around 1900-2000 RPM at highway speed.
