you can't hook it to the fuse box because the fuse box is always hot. You need to hook it to the ignition wire on your cd player

Not all fuses in the fuse box are constant hot. Some are run off ignition power.

Sorry I can't help you more man, I don't have a 1st gen around right now.

well i already tried the radio one on mine and it wont work i know. But i dont know whats diferent about your gen. It would just be easier to hook it up behind the cd player

There is a radio fuse that is IGN. I hooked my radar detector up to this one, but the remote wire is best being wired to the HU.

Ok, here is my crude picture of the fuse block locations:

For a 94...93 is the same:
From the 94 manual:

1 15A Dome lights (Power mirror 2 door) Radio Memory

2 6A C.B. Front washer/Wiper

3 Not used.

4 15A Stoplamps 4 Way flashers

5 15A Back up lamps DRL(Canadian) Rear defroster Turn signals, Turn indicators

6 10A Speed Control

7 15A Cluster warning lamps

8 20A Horns

9 10A Air conditioner switches Clutch coil

10 15A Parking/Licence plate lights Trailer tow

11 15A Radio (switched) power

12 20A C.B. Cigarette lighter Flash to pass

13 10A Instrument panel illumination

14 30A C.B. Power windows

15 10A ABS module

16 20A Premium radio amplifier

17 15A Rear wiper/washer

18 15A Heated exaust gas oxygen (HEGO)

Can someone please give me a list of the Fuse locations similar to this for a '99 Ex? I have searched the site already for one.

Thanks,
Geoff
