E-mail K&N. They will have one to you in under a week.

Nope, there's a bunch of red tape with K&N for that now-you gotta fill out a form and take pictures, etc.

..You do not need a CARB sticker if you are running a K&N drop in filter which on your model would be the 33-2024.

..Not all K&N filters or kits are CARB tested or certified..

..What filter or K&N filter or kit are you running?

...I believe the reason they are requesting that info and being tough about it is because there are lots of people buying cheapo cone filters and just want a sticker to pass smog...

..They can go out and purchase either a drop in which requires no certification for emissions or they can purchase a CARB compliant filter or filter assembly kit and get the sticker..

..They should just brand the CARB compliant number into their product and they wouldn't have to deal with the stickers..;)

I'm running the K&N full piping short ram intake for the 95-whatever-there IS a sticker for it. If someone has one and doesnt need it, could they send it to me? Would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

i would have a bunch since i do alot of cold air intakes installs on mustangs but, i dont cause they don't come with them..... all that came with them was a sticker that says do not throw filter away. and the K&N decal for the side of the car. but no carb decal. ive installed almost all. the only one that comes with one i believe is the FPIK (I think that what its called) CAI.

I don't have a sticker, but I have a question; Is the intake system you are running is for the 95-98 Explorer? Is it this model?

And, did it mount up with no modifications? I am in the process of gathering information for a solid axle conversion with coil over shocks and want a shock hoop where that giant air box sits.

and I take it you can't pass, because you're not using the kit on an application the kit was CARB-approved for?

the K&N FIPK I bought way back when did come with a CARB sticker, and it was needed to pass emissions test which does a visual inspection.
