Help! I want to lift my truck!

I've found a shop that will mount and balance for $20 a tire if you bring in your own tires and wheels. It helps to ask around. If you want large tires but can't afford new wheels look into 265/75R16 size tires. They're skinny 33s. However, I agree with Rebel in looking at 15" wheels. The only reason I didn't run them is because I needed load range D tires because I was towing and hauling with 35s. Too much sidewall flex for comfort but for general purposes and towing trailers that aren't over 3.5-4k pounds 15" wheels would be just fine.

they're ACTUALLY equal to a 32/10.5/16 NOT a 33

they measure 31.6 x 10.4. soooo, its really "a skinny 32"

don't mean to nitpik you, but.....its not a 33, a 33 would be
285/75/16....and a 285/70/16 would actually be a 32 also..

Those will work perfect. I have Cragar Soft 8 wheels only with 4" backspacing, they barely clear the calipers but fit perfect. Not sure if the Summit brand will clear the calipers.

Wow, The Cragar's jacked up in price, I bought them on sale for I think $46 each.

Yea they fit that what I run summit 84 series 3.75 BS and they are close but they fit without touching and for 199$ shipped to my door you can't beat that !

They should fit, you'll probably need to rim some plastic away from the cladding inner wheelwells and front bumper.

I just got everything installed and my tires rub horribly i can't even turn my truck. and it squeals the whole time im driving even when im driving straight. what could this be?! im freaking out about the squealing. it literally sounds like someone is screaming. They said i needed to trim the plastic which i already knew but will the screaming stop once i trim and will more TT help a little?

The squealing is the brake pad retainer shim rubbing on the wheels, I trimmed the outer edges of them. It's an easy fix and can be done with hand tools in the driveway.

My grandpa is coming over tomorrow to do all the trimming. What tools will he need so i can tell him.

Really all you need to do is jack your truck up, support it with jack stands, remove the front wheels and trim off the excess amount of metal clip sticking out past the edge of the caliper. If you have a grinder it'll work even easier.

If i don't have a grinder for the metal clip sticking out what else can i use? just incase

You can use a good set of metal clipper pliers or wire cutters. You might need to remove the calipers, pads and clips to trim the clips.
