ok guys im looking for a few parts as well as.. what all you see i need for this.. i wrecked my 98 Mountaineer i know i need a a fender grill front lighting drivers side bumper a radiator and a transmission cooler.. i don't know what the transmission cooler looks like or what i need cuz when i go to the parts house here locally they are all freaking retarded and show me like 10 different things. what all stuff do you guys have experience with on fixing something like this.

Actually you should be able to use any universal oil cooler..

Have you tried looking at any junk yards? That would be the best place. Find one which allows you to pull your own stuff.

When you do get a used transmission cooler, be sure to flush it out well, and, shoot a lot of air through it before installing it.

I'm now thinking about the tan mounty bumper I threw out after being called a hoarder. Oh well,

you might need some frame work as well since there is a gap between hood and passenger side fender and it looks like most of hit was on drivers side.

Looks to me like you need---

Left front fender

Loaded header panel ( includes lights-and grill) --the header panel is the fiberglass "frame" which all the lights and grill mount to. Try to find one in your color--or black.

Front bumper with fog lights. You can use any explorer-mountaineer bumper as long as you get the whole mounting brackets . 4 bolts ( pointing forward) hold it on to the front frame mounts.

Surely you can find these parts at a junk yard in Omaha--I'd think.

Next question will all the parts from explorer cross over to mountaineer. Except grill cuz they look different and i wanna keep that the same

The fender and bumper yes--you need a mountaineer header panel to mount mounty lights and grill.

I have a center emblem I could sell to you. I "may" have a set of headlights and a marker light. However this is the time to get new ones which you can find on ebay. Might as well invest a few extra dollars and get bright shiny new ones IMO.

You might even find some clear corner lights which will update the look a little.
