Help removing transmission

Ok this might be a bit off the wall but i need to remove the 5r55e from my 97 explorer. Heres the problem ive never tackled a job like this but cant really afford to pay someone to do it. I know how to turn a wrench thats not the problem. Can anyone provide me with the steps i need to take to remove it. Or a web site that has instuctions. Your help would be greatly appreciated thanks. Vehicle information if it helps its a 1997 4wd explorer 4.0 motor and the 5r55e tranny

Removing the transmission is basically just turning a lot of bolts so you should be good . Get a repair manual HAYNES or CHILTONS and another pair of hands because the transmission is quite heavy (unless you have a transmission jack).
