Hey all,
I'm looking to lift up the rear of my '00 ex a couple inches.
Was thinking shackles, but also wondering if helper springs would lift it up?? Or would they just make the rear end really stiff?

Thoughts, opinions....??

I put helper springs on my Sport and they really didn't lift it up much if at all. I realized later that my leaf springs (and I think ALL leaf springs) are staged, so the more weight on the springs, the more actual leaves are being used. The helper spring goes under the bottom spring, so when under full load, my Sport didn't sag much at all, but otherwise, there was really no change.

I did the Shackles too (WAR153), those lifted the back quite nicely :)

"Helper" springs only decrease sag when towing. Add a leaf springs are made to lift a vehicle. I'm not sure which one you meant to say but that's the deal.
