Here's an easy one for you Tire Pros

Ok.. I am running P235/75R15. From what I've heard talking to tire shops I should be running P235/70R15. Is this right? When I look on tire websites I can't seem to find a P235/70R15. I can only find P225/70R15. Is there such a thing as P235/70R15?

Reason I am asking is because I want to keep with the tires i'm currently running. I am probably going to go with the Uniroyal Cross Country tires (recommended to me by a friend who owns a tire shop). He said these were great tires, anyone disagree?

Anyway just trying to get to the bottom of these numbers.

Thanks

Most tire sites have the 235-70-15 listed under SUV tires. I know I have searched everywhere for this size for my 1993 Buick Roadmaster.
With that said I think you mean 225-70-15 for your EX.

The standard tire for most Explorers with 15" wheels is the 235/75R15.

Yeah mine came with 235/75R15s...it now has 255/70R15s
