alright, this is not such a big problem but i just wanted to know anyway. when i reverse out of my drive way i dont really use the gas but once i put it in drive the engine wants to not pick up rpms right away and has a little hesitation at first. could this be a sign that something is going to go wrong soon or just the fact that im approaching 230,000 miles on engine and tranny, any help will be appreciated

have you checked the trans fluid level?
Thats some good miles for a A4LD
About average life for a 4.0L OHV
Sounds like you got your $$$$'s worth, and its still going......

Do what 410fortune suggests and also clean the intake out. Throttle body, MAF and IAC. Usually does the trick. Congrats on reaching 230000. Doing good!

thanks guys, what would you suggest i use to clean these parts just an old tooth brush and som electrical cleaner for the sensors?
