My 91 Sport has 191,000 miles on her and I drive about 28,000 per year so I should hit 1/4 million in July or August 2005!
No modifications on this one. Replacements have been 2 power steering pumps, 2 A/C repairs, 1 clutch pressure plate rebuild, new front disks and rotors, just put in a new wire set ($34 at NAPA), 1 alternator, 2 starter motors, and 1 paint job. Riding on Michelins after the Firestone fiasco.
All else is original including original radiator/water pump. I did install new hoses last winter after reading some posts about blown rad hoses on the highway.
Trying to buy a late model XLT but this one just won't die, and I did promise my son and all.
Hope your 92 carrys you far!
