From the PNW, I travel to the east side a lot and needed this for the pass. 2DR sport, 130k miles on the 4.0 OHV; I'm the 3rd owner but the 2nd owner was the son of the original owner who maintained it since he bought it new in Colorado. Really clean!

Does anyone know where to find parts? They recently put on a 'hot' air intake and I want the stock one back in, I've found original tubing online but it's expensive, same goes for the air cleaner box. I also want to accumulate parts for future parts replacements and repairs. I plan to keep it mostly stock for now, as it is pretty much stock aside from the intake, subs/amp and a horrendous old model touch screen stereo that stays on and drains my battery (need to see about removing or swapping the wiring around for now, I think they wired it wrong). Something I may do though is just to install crossbars and a pop-up tent, awning for the side..So I can take my girlfriend to do "granola ****", as she says. I have always liked the overlanding idea, although it's a bit funny because it's no different than me camping in my Mazda 3 hatch, just with weird rules/culture and going farther and having the tools to get you there/ out of there.

While I don't think its super impressive or anything, here's a short video:

Super clean! Welcome!

Welcome!

I am north of sandpoint
I have been building these trucks for many many years and I have been known to have lots and lots of parts

That is a nice sport you have there! I have intake tubes and airboxes, rear springs and radios. We love the sports here because they are lighter so the engines and transmissions can last even longer. They also did not have the control trac awd instead they are true 4wd. You need to get rid of that crazy radio wiring situation
The weak spots are the auto trans and also the doors are long and heavy so the hinges can take a beating.
Overlanding is simply settiing up your rig for camping and leaving the stuff attached… really something we have been doing here since the 90s, a huge aftermarket has been created and now there are lots of cool products

Welcome to ef! Nice sport! Smart choice for the pass

Does it have 4.1 gears? Limited slip rear axle?

Welcome to this forum! It's hard to locate parts for old vehicles but they are possible to find. Rock Auto & EBay have a lot of parts for old models. Sometimes Autozone might have some through special order.

Thanks for the response! Sandpoint in Idaho? Closest I visit is to Tri-Cities right now. I’d definitely be interested in the tubing and box assembly!

I’ll have to look at the rear. I’m not sure on the gears and axle, have the car in storage but I swap into it on the weekend

Welcome! Got a 95 Sport. Always liked the 2 door. I find the best place to find older parts is Ebay.
