HID Hi/Low

You lucky ones you are... in GE the lo-beam must be on when switching to hi-beam when using HID-Xenon, no matter if you´re using single-Xenon or bi-Xenon .

So I need to change the wiring at the MFS on my ´99 X´to prevent the lo-beam from shutting off (Not a big deal, just one jumpwire).

yep, Quake - indeed :)

( Genau so ist es ! )

I order a kit that i found some place on the internet it had a Xenon Low Beam And Xenon High Beam it came with four hella ballast and i am putting them in a diomond clear housing. The whole thing cost about $500 i will try to post pics when everything is installed before and after too. let me know what ya think.

the only bad thing about the dual ballast bixenon kits is that there is a slight delay between high and low beam. Not a bad one, but it is there.

yeah but i can live with a little delay and still have high beams. i am guessing is the delay is to ingnite the high beam.

and exactly this delay is the reason why in GE the Lo-Beam must still lit when you switch to Hi-beam :) It´s not a big deal, you only need a relay thats piloted from the Hi-beam-wire to supply the lo-beam when hi-beam is switched. Or you can use a jumpwire on the MFSwitch. Guess the relay is easier to install.
