98 Sport OHV 63,000

in order
4X4 Relay (broke the day I got it, told the place either'er they fix it or take it back, they fixed it)
valvebody replaced (ouch)
2 Oxygen sensors (third any minute)
A/C recharged twice last summer
they finally found the leak and hopefully will fix it monday
I think the paint on my hood is going bad

Besides that just regualr maintenance, but seeing that most of that happened the first year I owned it I haven't been too happy w/ my Ex.

I also hadta switch to 4 door leafpacks so I could haul my trailor w/ it, the mono-leafs that were on it, I couldn't put the trailor on it cause it'd just pull the rear end down.

1991 Explorer XLT
4.0 Auto trans,4door,A/C,Power Windows and locks
Bought this bad boy for $1,100,not bad!!! Read on...

Previous owner rebuilt the engine from the ground up @ 103,000 miles
Transmission professionally rebuilt in 2001.
Upper and lower ball joints replaced.
Auto hubs replaced with Warn manuals.

Garage work.....
Had to have a radius arm support replaced.
Both front wheel bearings loose, had them tightened.
4 brandy new AT tires 2 weeks ago.

Done by yours truely.......
Had to replace the A/C compressor,so decided to convert it to an air compressor(for now). Added an air tank under the front passenger seats floor board, the various hoses,a 90 to 125 PSI Square D pressure switch, and an air line routed out to the front grill, plan on putting one out near the back bumper.

Alternator...... HAHA darn thing was squeaking and had RPM with voltage drop so replaced it with 1 from a yard, kept the old 1 has it had good outputs will rebuild it later for a quality spare.

Exhaust.......Returning from out of town trip a block away from home the exhaust falls off!! LOLOL. Guess whats next on my agenda? BTW....all of the above happened with in a day of each other, tires, alternator and exhaust!!!

I sat at the intersection and LAMO'ed!!! What else was I going to do?

Current miles on chassis........177,000...175,000 when bought.

I am in search of an uprated radiator, what works? Will concider ANY type even with mods, just need to know what needs to be done and moved.
