290,000 on my 1999 Explorer XL. New cylinder heads last summer and a tranny about 150,000 miles ago. Shes about to go bye bye, as I am in the process of buying a 2001Eddie Bauer with 109,000 miles.

Just turned 100K in my X. It's seen new exhaust, brake lines, front end rebuild and just about every suspension piece replaced. If I could get PA to stop putting salt on the roads I may be able to keep it forever...

205xxx miles on 99 5.0 AWD with almost everything original. Had to replace the front diff thanks to a faulty seal blowing out roughly 6hrs from home and replaced the alternator (130a->200a) due to bad diodes. Did body lift, TT and shackles with 33" meats at roughly 130xxx miles. Still kicking with no major problems. Looking into doing a rebuild on the entire drive-train here soon if the cash flow permits.

Yeah I just gotta figure out how to upload them.

Along with uploading pics to the thread, how do I upload a pic as my profile pic(I think that what its called, the pic above my name)?

Just over 230k on my '98 Explorer

My truck is 209,x.., just checked that today. My wifes is roughly 83,x.. and counting. We have been using hers more often seeing its better on gas than mine.

Yeah it took me forever trying to figure out how to post them.

Mine has 170k. Love it! Just passed state inspection today with no problems

2000 5.0 XLT AWD - "Dora the Explorer" is about to hit 172,000. At the rate I'm going she'll be brand new soon. In the last year I've replaced lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, shocks, front sway bar struts (twice), driver's door power lock actuator, four wheel brake job (discs and pads), AC compressor and blower motor, water pump, all new pulleys, tensioner, idlers, S-belt, radiator, hoses, and I'm about to change the Cam Position Sensor & Synchronizer tomorrow.

On the short list are a new Flowmaster 70 cat-back exhaust, new driver's seat, and hopefully a new lid for the center console. The current lid has lost most of its vinyl and both latches are broken. I actually think I prefer it with the broken latches, but the busted up vinyl is pretty rough on the forearm! I'm hoping the new exhaust will help the gas mileage - at ~15 mpg she's getting a little expensive to operate. Any other ideas for boosting mileage?

Scott
