too lazy to go through listing all my stuff, and i probably wouldn't remember anyways, but i've spent about 4 g's on mod's, another 2 or so on repairs b/c of the mods :D . funny thing (that's not really that funny) is i only paid 3k for the truck itself, and could only sell it for about 2k now...stupid explorer resale value  oh well, won't ever be selling it anyways

My green truck had about 10k in just mods. This new one im already up to 2k in just mods.

around $5220

But honestly, however much we've spent on modifications, I think the real thing here is how many hours.. I can't even begin to count the hours upon hours into the truck, money and the crap inside doesn't make it worth more, but knowing how much time and heart you've put it in makes it what it is, something you can never replace. :(

The only thing I bought for my 92 is another set of used (deer hoof) rims that I mounted 31" MT tires on. I only put them on when I go off roading. Total for the rims was $100, the tires were take offs from my 91 Bronco. Of course that doesn't count fixes and repairs.

My son modified the front end by rearending someone. About $70 for a used bumper, $120 for a used left front fender. His ticket was dismissed because the person he ran into failed to show in court (Son paid her $200 insurance deductable). Fender still needs to be painted.

GrilleCraft Grill- $140
Subs/Box/Amp/HU- $900
Carbon Fiber tails- $70
Clear Corners- $28(Brand new...Sweet deal!)
Fogs- $90
Shackles(Not on yet)- $20
Mass Air Flow- $300
Steering wheel cover- $10
Radar Detector- $100
Exhaust- $300
K&N- $250

So im at $2208! Pretty good for me....im proud of myself

the hours are where the 40k insurance value comes in

I do

1. Saleen hood - $1,000 painted
2. Clifford alarm w/virtual Link system & auto start - $800
3. EE Super Charger $3,000
4. Recaro Seats (just ordered) - $2,000
5. Tints - $150
6. CF dash kit - $250
7. MAC Intake $130
8. Vent Shades (Joe's Fav) - $50
9. Apten Single Program Chip - $250
10. Saleen Pedals - $80

and my grand total is $7,710

Well, here goes....

31.10.5's - $400
Brush guard - $250
Nerf bars - $100
Clear corners - $40
Fogs - $30
Taillight covers - $40
Stereo - $200
Spark plugs and wires - $75
Exhaust - $220

Total - $1705

And planning to spend about $500 - $1000 more this summer. Geez....isn't it amazing how the future mod list never ends? I think I add about 3 more things to it every day. I wish I had enough money to feed my addiction. It's great though!

over more than 7 years I would say more than $13K total.

Thats for all mods, not including maintenece and upkeep plus extended insurance policy to cover all the mods :)

It could be alot more too thats a conservative number, worth every penny though, better than buying a new truck for twice that!

Hmmm...

Paint: $800
Headlights: $600
Tires: $400
Alarm w/ install: $400
Borla Headers w/ install: $350
Alpine CDA-9835: $400
MA Audoi HK-1397 Amp: $250
Escort 8500 Radar: $225
Apten Chip: $225
MAF: $210
Phoenix Gold X12D4 Subs: $250
Tint: $200
Exhaust: $200
Rims: $200
BBK TB: $175
Q-Logic Box: $145
Warn Manual Hubs: $100
Test Pipe: $100
JBL Speakers: $100
Hot Air Intake: $85
Digital Speedo: $80
Lift Stuff: $60
Clear Corners: $40
Overhead Console: $40

Wow.. Around $6k with the minor stuff and work done by mechanics and myself. No hotrod insurance, actually just full coverage. Maybe I should get some insurance for my stuff.

I took out whats called an Extended Coverage policy. I set it at up to $10K.
Now the truck is covered by them for blue book value plus up to $10K additional, it is up to me to PROVE it is worth that much.

So I have every receipt and lots and lots of pictures.

I figure if it gets totalled (rolled or hit) I will buy another BII and salvage what I can. I will get as much insurance as I can depending on whats damaged....but its smart to cover your investment.....and its only a few bucks extra a month...

Too much!

Hhhhhmmmmmm I'd have to say something in the $15K range. And look at me know. Rippin it all apart to do a SAS.....another stereo system.....cage...seats.......aarrgh...it never ends!!!!! :bounce:
