What kind of lights? Fog [on with low beams] or driving [on with high beams].

I wired my 55w HID fog light straight into my stock fog lights, I have had no problems and have had them on for like 4 months and they are always on when I drive

I am having some problems with wiring my lights. I have four Hella 500FF lights on my roof rack, and I want to wire them to two different switches, one for the inside two, and one for the outside two. The wiring has been done cleanly and correctly, as I have tested each switch and relay independently and everything works. What I am having problems with is the green wire on the switch which is the switch power that is traditionally hooked to the parking lights, driving lights, high beams, or whatever. I want the lights to have power any time the car is running, regardless of whether or not other lights are on, and a wire that was already by the switch wire was the accessory wire running to my amp in the back. I connected these four wires (acc. in, acc. out, switch 1, switch 2) and tried it out. Flipping one switch doesn't turn anything on, and both switches turns all four lights on. In addition to that problem, my amp only works when both switches are flipped and all the lights are on. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, or what, but if anybody can figure it out, please let me know. I am tired of not being able to listen to music. :D

A couple observations. 1- you have the two switches lined up in a row, your roof lights do not see 2 seperate signals. 2- you stole the power feed to the amp, therefore it too needs both switches on.

If i picture your power like it was a road, you tried to build two more roads off of the main road, then put up two roadblocks on the main road. Get out a sheet of paper and pencil out what you want happening, it should be clear where something is getting the wrong feed.

Yeah, the only problem is not enough people read the stickies
