OEM or aftermarket?

Aftermarket=PITA to get working-I never could figure it out.

Mounting hardware and wiring issues made me have a real bad day-

i wanna say oem mast ...

Does the motor work at all? If just the mast (the part that moves up and down) is bent, it can be changed very easily. If the mast has broken and pieces remain inside the motor, you'll have to disassemble the motor to fix it.

If the entire motor needs to be changed, you'll need to access the motor behind the fender cover in the engine compartment. According to the manual, you will have to remove the antenna cable from the back of the radio and fish it out as well when the antenna is removed, as it is one integral piece.

Nah...the antenna should unplug at the motor. I just replaced the motor in my 95 and I didn't have to pull the lead...thank God. If all you need is the mast, they say you can do it from the fender in most cases. I'm here to tell you, it's not gonna happen. Just pull the passenger inner fender, remove it all, disassemble the mast and motor to clean the broken pieces, and put it together.

I have seen they have a new mast assmb. on ebay for like 20.00 or is there somewhere where there are better one's?????
