I am replacing the drivers side timing chain tensioner and am having some trouble priming it, would somebody care to explain how you can prime it quickly the right way?

:dunno: :feedback: :help:

I believe you just need to soak the chain in oil prior to installation.

But I'm just installing a new tensioner because the chain was rattling because the old one is worn out. I thought you had to like push the plunger of the tensioner up and down in oil....
;)

Watch "Priming Timing Chain Tensioners 4 0 SOHC Engine" on YouTube

I just saw this video cause im changing both my tensioners, 02 xlt.
Figured I'd post that here for everyone.
