How to remove cupholder/tray

I did the brown wire mod earlier this year but the switch is currently just hanging out in the glove box and I would love to mount it between the cupholders. Only problem is, I can't figure out how to get that piece out to get it done. I have an 02' EB. Any advice on another location or how to get that piece out? Also, I don't currently have it as a lighted switch, but the last terminal on the switch is just for ground. Does it get power for the light from the brown wire?
