how to remove engine control computer?

I need to replace my engine control computer and i've taken off the kick panel in the car and looked at it, but it's quite awkward getting in there and was wondering if anyone has gone through this and has any tips or advice for me or any steps that i should follow? and help is appreciated, thank you

Pretty easy. Once the kick panel is off, unbolt the connector & wiggle the ECU out from the bracket.
