I am looking to convert from auto hubs to manual on a 91 Explorer.

I seem to have 3 choices - Mile Marker , Warn and Superwinch

Warn is my choice so far both on name and price.

But....I figured I would ask the experts here before I go for it.

NOTE: This vehicle is not driven off road and the 4x4 will only be used for winter driving.

Thanks in advance:salute:

Go with the Warn's then....have used them on pther vehicles w/no problems.

Warns have the best warranty.

Well, you listed three choices...

And you asked what we recommend.

:dunno:

Go for the Warn. I had them for a while and never had a prob.

...again with the warn...

I'd go warn also. Although Mile Marker is cheaper and will back up their product with free replacement. I have 4 mile marker hubs, have broken two and "rebuilt/modified" them, then had one fail unrepairable, and have another broken on the truck now. This is with 33's and a locker and not being gentle. I think they would hold up just fine for normal usage if price is a big factor.
