Hum from A/C fan..it still works, but noisy

would a hum from the A/C be the blower motor going?

it does it on any setting, any fan setting. sounds like a bad bearing in the fan motor...am I correct in thinking that?

the hum gets louder the higher you have the fans speed at...
advice please!!

Is it a motor type hum, or could it be the sound of the fan hitting some debris that might be in the cage?

At least the fan is easy to remove and check.

sounds like a bearing hum in the fan. I am going to remove and check it this weekend. thank goodness it isnt too hot here this week...last week we were in the 80's. this week in the high sixties

I had this problem for awhile and took it out to see that a big chunk of the foam filter thing from where air is sucked from inside the cab came off and got stuck in it.

Cleaned off the fan blades, and all was good again.
