I have a stock '99 explorer with stock sized wheels/tires. I want to get some 31's with a more aggressive tread. I just bought this truck a couple months ago, and want to start making it my own.

My concern is that there seems to be that the rear end is lower than the front end. Do i need to address this issue before i get the bigger tires? If so, how do you suggest that i do that?

Also, is there any problems with mounting 31's on the stock rims?

Thanks
Jason

When it comes to 31's your only worry is the front, you can fix the rear end sag with an AAL or shackles(do a search for them). And yes a 31 will fit fine on stock rims and should fit fine without any lift on your 99.
