I have been paying on a 1994 ford explorer limited and i have formed a sort of "relationship" with him. i call him oliver. am i dumb for this affection i have towards this truck and have not even payed off? i have such high hopes and ambitions for this truck. but im not quite sure if im just being vague and dumb. seems like a good vehical, only 84k on his odo. but im just not sure i should be falling in "love" with it so quick, i have been trollin on yalls forums for awhile and im just wondering what yall think. i can post pics if you would like.

Not Dumb at all.

Please post pix.

I have over 230,000 on mine so you have a 'long term' relationship ahead of you!

I Will Post Pics In The AM. I just went and spent some time with him. i am buying him from a neighbor, and he was her daily driver untill she bought her camery. but he has every option for a 94.

There is nothing wrong at all with "loving" and naming your vehicles. Heck, EVERY single one of ours that we have had or currently do have, have named themselves, eventually. Our "X" hasn't named itself yet, but, the 84 BroncoII is "Wyll E.", after the coyote, because of it running on parts from several other makes ( GM HEI module firing the Duraspark converted 2.8, Dodge OLD school 2 piston up-right A/C compressor for OBA, Chrysler mini van sparkplug wires, Nissan underhood light and fuel injection, just to list a few ) The 84 Ranger is "Sleepy" all though it had a 331 ci turbo'd V8, 88 Jeep Cherokee was "Gracie" since it did the offroad thing with grace, my wifes old 92 4 door Cavalier that was Corvette LT 1 powered was "Sapphire" for the blue paint, all though I called it the "Sucker Puncher" because of the LT 1 install. Nope nothing wrong at all with a vehicle having a name. :)

you are definetly not alone lol my 2000 has a name, and two other people i know with explorers have named them also haha

i have no idea how to post pics. so plz help.

I use "Photobucket" for web posting pictures. It is really easy to use and is FREE!

My wife names everything in the house living or mechanical.

Its A 94 Limited, With All The Options For That Year. Completely Stock. And Im Paying $1300. Leather Is Beautiful In All The Seats, Just A Little Cracked On The Bottom Of The Driver Seat. What You Guys Think?

not a bad looking rig...Enjoy it!

I had a 1991 just like that ruby red and i loved it and drove very good i had the 4x4 version which i had to change out all the front end like tie rods and etc after that it drove staight.
truck looks good though

Thanks, Its More Of A Purple. And It Is The 4x4. Also, The 4th Rim Is In The Back. It Had Been Sittin For Awhile In A Garage And The Tire Went Flat.

congrats. looks like a pretty nice truck.

Very nice for the year, and low miles too. Don you have any plans for it? (Lift, lower, rims, stereo, etc?)

lol there's nothing wrong with "falling in love" with your truck. 94s are the best explorers in my opinion, but that's cause i own one. i got an email about mine before i got it and i was in love with a truck i had not seen!

I Was Thinking Home Brew Dual Exhaust, I Want To Get The Bumpers I Saw That This Guy Makes And Sells, Winch, Im Thinking 3 L7's, 2 12's and 1 15, pushing about 4000watts. and i honestly want to paint it like the x from Jurassic Park. always wanted that truck. do you guys think 13 is too much for him?

I bought a heartthrob glasspack for mine, but it's gone now due to drone on long drives. around town though it was wicked. i had the loudest explorer in my area and one of the louder vehicles in town -no lie. but 13's not bad considering how nice it looks. mine was free so i don't know much about pricing.

Theres A Few Things Ive Noticed, The Door Panels Just Seem To Fall Apart When You Close The Door, I Would Imagine This Is Because This Truck As Been In Hot And Sunny Florida For Its Life. The Stereo Works, But The Buttons Need To Be Pressed With The Force Of God, And Its Not Very Loud At All, Im Not Sure If The Loudness Part Is The Head Unit Or The Amp. And The Rear Windshild Wiper Dont Work. Other Than That Its Nice As All Hell.
