From everything ive checked into lift options are hard to come by but i cant seem to part with my explorer ive had it for so long and DO NOT want to get rid of it. Id like to at least get it up enough to fit some 35X11.5's on it if at all possible. Any ideas or options that have worked for any enthusiasts to the explorer with the IFS?

Are you 4WD or 2WD to start with?

I don't know a whole lot for 4WD lifts, ironically, but it's because I drive a 2WD. I'm sure there are kits and ways to lift the front, but the rear you can always do add-a-leafs, shackles or spring over axle. There is also the option of a body lift either way, for 2-3".

You can use the Superlift 4" for the 96-01 but...

The reason Superlift does not list a '95 is because the rear torsion bar mounts are welded to the frame instead of being bolted on like '96 and up.

You will have to have a well experinced welder cut off the factor mounts and line the new ones up and welded back on.

If they are off just a little the rest of the suspension will not line up correctly & would be impossible to get the front end aligned properly.
