i put a flowmaster 50 series dual inlet single outlet on my explorer, you can keep your spare tire and it sounds pretty good on my 4.0 SOHC so it will most likely sound better on your 5.0

i got single in and dual out 40 series flows on my 01 sport and i love it. It sounds mean and tough.

im thinking of a flowmaster 50 series for my 1998 EB 5.0 they sound mean but they are not to loud.. it all depends on how your taste is

some mufflers can be run forwards and backwards, but not all

Flowpro's can be used in both directions, I run a dual inlet single outlet Flowpro, dual 2.5" in and single 3" out
Cheap, sounds great, awesome mufflers IMO
I have them on both my 5.0L trucks
