I was working on my truck today and while underneath it i noticed some fluid. At first I thought it was transmission fluid but I'm pretty sure its brake fluid and it looks like its coming from the master cylinder. I looked at the fluid level in the container and its .5" below the max fill line but when i step on the brake the whole master cylinder moves. Does any one know if this is normal or do i have a serious problem on my hands?

The master cylinder shouldn't move. Did you try tightening down the bolts that hold it on?? Also, check to make sure the bolts that hold the master cylinder to the brake booster aren't broken. There was a recall on that (for vehicles in hot climates only) several years ago.

I was looking @ it today and i was trying to move it but everything seems tight. The fluid reservoir is the only thing that seems to be loose.

I dunno Jeff hopefully my truck will still be together for paragon :)
