Hi,
Where is the Chicago EXP club located?
What night is the meeting?
Tom

There is NO Explorer owners club

:exporange no club in chicago aera :exporange

There used 2 B the N.O.I.E.C. but they disbanded a few years ago. The only local club I've just recently heard of is chicago4X4--they meet a koozy's on 87th & Harlem. Do a google on it 4 thier website
Danny

Nope, No Explorer club in the Chicago land area that I know of. We used to have the Northern Illinois Explorer Club, but the webmaster/president went AWOL and half the members moved or sold thier Xs. We then had the MidWest Xplorers club and that just never really caught on.
Now you have www.chicago4x4.net and www.midwestoffroad.com. Nothing explorer specific, but Midwest Offroad was pretty much started by Explorer owners I think.
Dre and I have tried to have meet and greets in the area, but have only been able to get one at the Volo Car Museum about 2 years ago. :(

Old stuff but let's revive it, shall we???
:us:
Northeast Illinois and southern Wisconsin Explorer/Ranger owners!!!
I'll say we should have our first anual "Meet and Great" and do it at the Volo Car museum - Saturday April 22nd or Sunday April 23rd... plenty of time for most guys to catch on and make plans.

Just because we tried and failed a few years ago doesn't mean we should not try again.

How's that?
Spread the word

Should we find guys from IL and WI and PM them??? they moght not visit this side of the forum...

:(

In the beginning it was much easier... there were just a few topics... now it's so spread out it's not as easy anymore to catch anyone's attention... perhaps in the general forum??? but there is no general forum anymore... start here again? perhaps we can do that and start waking everybody from their winter-long sleep...

Hey guys. I knew a couple of years ago of the explorer club on the south side. They use to meet up with the expeditions out on stoney and hang. That was before I bought an explorer though.

Just trying to revive the forum!

wow, this one's old...

We might start something soon - I hope so stay tuned.
:salute:

As ive made multiple topics on this subject im up for it just let me know what happens

So, why isn't Iowa included in the midwest group here? lol

because you are west of the mississippi :D

haha j/k... i duno. you do grow corn like the rest of the midwesterners.

lol, ya well it is midwest. But, I would also consider, nebraska, missiouri, south dakota, and other states that produce moslty grain the midwest too though...

keep us updated. Maybe not even a club(clubs take Leadership people and time and money) since we would all be affiliated through Explorer forums.com. maybe just setup events to get together or something every now and then. i would be happy to come out and meet some X owners Just not being involved with the politics of a club and mandatory meetings etc...
